Chapel Visuals

In previous semesters Wesley students met in the art studio to make banners, paraments, vestments and temporary artwork for Oxnam Chapel. With the pandemic, everything changed. For the 2020 fall semester, artist Kiki McGrath's "Chapel Visuals" class met virtually to create worship videos and design proposals for religious sites. By making theological connections between how space functions, liturgical seasons and symbolic imagery, these projects offer creative ways to bring visual elements into worship spaces.
