Reframing Wesley

Last year, the Luce Center for Arts and Religion at Wesley Theological Seminary completed a conservation project that reframed key works in the collection, ensuring their future preservation and safety. Reframing Wesley celebrates the completion of this project while offering an opportunity to reconsider— or 'reframe'— how we engage with our collection as a whole. By bringing art from the hallways and classrooms of the seminary’s campus into dialogue, Reframing Wesley connects historical artifacts, works by past Artists-in-Residence, and pieces from Wesley’s remarkable contemporary collection in new and exciting ways. Join us as we engage in dialogue about the art that is integral to the daily life at Wesley.

Reframing Wesley is curated by Madeline Drewes, Collection Specialist at the Luce Center.
