Support the Arts at Wesley
The mission of the Henry Luce III Center for the Arts and Religion is to explore the intersection of art and faith; to encourage dialogue between artists and theologians; to help artists find ways to join their faith and their art; to help local religious communities discover ways to include the arts as a medium of transformation and hope; and to remind people of all faith that the arts are intrinsic to the full expression of what it means to be created
in the image of God.
We are grateful to Henry Luce III, whose generous gift furnished the seed money for the creation of the Luce Center. Please prayerfully consider building on Mr. Luce’s legacy by supporting the ongoing work of the Luce Center for the Arts and Religion at Wesley Theological Seminary, whose programs demonstrate how art and faith can transform the church and the world.
Current priorities include expanding art facilities to include ceramics, funding creative projects that contribute to social justice, and building a world-class contemplative sculpture garden on campus to share with the public.
